Traders see no dominant text-to-video leader heading into late September 2026, with closely matched market-implied odds reflecting fragmented benchmarks and rapid model iterations. ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0/2.5 leads recent Artificial Analysis leaderboards through superior multimodal references, native audio sync, and local editing, while Google Veo 3.1 excels in realism and prompt adherence. Kling 3.0 stands out for character consistency and narrative workflows, and Runway Gen-4.5 retains an edge in creative control tools despite slipping from top Elo rankings. Luma Ray updates and OpenAI Sora 2 add competitive pressure, but shifting capabilities, access tiers, and production use cases keep sentiment balanced across these and emerging contenders.

Results from the "Rank" column under the "Text-to-Video Arena" Leaderboard tab at https://arena.ai/leaderboard/text-to-video filtered for "Models" will be used to resolve this market.
Note: Models marked “AutoEval” at the applicable check time will not be considered, regardless of whether they display a rank or score.
