Traders see a tight race for the number-two AI lab by late October 2026, with Google holding the highest implied probability at 19.5 percent amid recent Gemini updates that strengthened multimodal reasoning and controllable generation features. Anthropic follows closely at 16 percent on the back of Claude’s enterprise adoption and safety-focused refinements, while Meta’s 14.5 percent reflects open-weight model momentum and developer ecosystem growth. Lower odds for Moonshot, Baidu, and others highlight how rapid iteration in large language model capabilities, benchmark gains, and platform integrations can quickly shift positioning. Key swing factors include upcoming developer conferences, regulatory clarity on AI deployment, and any surprise model releases that demonstrate superior style control or user adoption metrics before the resolution date.

Results from the "Lab Rank" column under the "Text Arena | Overall" Leaderboard tab at https://arena.ai/leaderboard/text/overall?rankBy=labs with style control on (Adjustments: Style Control) and filtered for "Labs" will be used to resolve this market.
Note: Models marked “AutoEval” at the applicable check time will not be considered, regardless of whether they display a rank or score.
AI companies will be ordered primarily by their Lab Rank at the market’s check time.
