OpenAI’s GPT Image 2, released in April 2026, anchors the leading market-implied odds through consistent top rankings on blind-vote arenas, where it excels in prompt adherence, legible text rendering, and photorealistic composition over rivals. Traders weigh this edge against a tight field of competitors: Reve’s July-updated 2.1 model, Google’s Nano Banana 2 variants emphasizing speed and integration, Microsoft AI’s recent entries, and specialists like Ideogram and Black Forest Labs that differentiate on design precision or open-weight flexibility. Key swing factors include any pre-October capability jumps in benchmarks, API pricing shifts, or demonstrated multimodal improvements, as no single lab maintains a decisive, stable lead in the fast-evolving text-to-image space.

Results from the "Rank" column under the "Text-to-Image Arena" Leaderboard tab at https://arena.ai/leaderboard/text-to-image (Overall) filtered for "Models" will be used to resolve this market.
Note: Models marked “AutoEval” at the applicable check time will not be considered, regardless of whether they display a rank or score.
Models will be ordered primarily by their leaderboard rank at the market’s check time. If two or more models are tied on rank, they will be ordered by which model is listed higher on the leaderboard. If a tie still remains, alphabetical order of company names as listed in this market group will be used as a final tiebreaker (e.g., “Google” would be ranked ahead of “SpaceXAI”). This market will resolve based on the company that occupies first place under this ranking.
