This shift, driven by Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s strong hold and competition from PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, has narrowed expectations for the original-IP family adventure directed by David Robert Mitchell and starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor. Earlier forecasts near $30 million have given way to more cautious comps against titles like Trap and The Creator, while positive early reviews and dinosaur-themed marketing provide modest upside. The market’s tight clustering between 20–26 million reflects these competing pressures just days before opening.
