Recent polls place Sweden's Vänsterpartiet and Miljöpartiet in a tight race ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election, with both parties drawing roughly 6–8% support amid the broader red-green bloc led by the Social Democrats. Late-campaign dynamics, including voter shifts within left-leaning constituencies on issues such as climate policy, social welfare, and economic pressures, sustain the narrow edge reflected in trader pricing. Historical patterns of modest swings between these allied parties near election day, combined with turnout variations in urban and younger demographics, keep the outcome sensitive to final-week developments like targeted campaigning or bloc-wide momentum.
