This market will resolve based on the longest game duration (time in minutes) of any single completed game played at The International 2026 tournament, scheduled for August 13, 2026 - August 23, 2026. This market will not count games played in the regional qualifiers and will only count matches played in the main tournament. For purposes of this market time will be rounded down to the nearest minute e.g. 100:59 counts as minute 100 not minute 101. If the tournament is cancelled, the market will resolve based on the longest completed game at the time of cancellation. If no games are completed during the tournament, this market will resolve to "other". The primary resolution source for this market will be Dotabuff(https://www.dotabuff.com); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. Game durations at The International 2026 remain highly variable due to the current patch favoring extended late-game scenarios where teams contest multiple high-ground defenses and leverage comebacks through superior teamfight execution. Recent roster adjustments and meta shifts toward scaling heroes have lengthened average matches in qualifiers, yet aggressive early-game strategies from top squads continue to produce shorter series. This balance of playstyles, combined with best-of-three formats that allow for decisive resets, keeps the distribution of potential longest-game outcomes tightly contested across multiple minute bins. Trader consensus reflects uncertainty over whether a single outlier marathon match will emerge in the main event bracket or playoffs.
