Gubernatorial elections are currently scheduled to be held in Tlaxcala on June 6, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Tlaxcala gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Tlaxcala and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Tlaxcala and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico.Tlaxcala’s 2027 gubernatorial race remains wide open more than a year before the vote, with trader consensus reflected in closely bunched probabilities across a long list of declared and potential contenders. Morena holds a clear party-level advantage in recent surveys, yet the party’s internal selection process has narrowed to a contest between Senator Ana Lilia Rivera Rivera and Tlaxcala Mayor Alfonso Sánchez García, whose outcome will shape the general-election field. Opposition parties are fragmented, with PRI’s Anabell Ávalos Zempoalteca, PAN’s Adriana Dávila Fernández, and several Movimiento Ciudadano and independent figures each polling in single digits or low double digits. No major scandals, endorsements, or policy shifts have occurred in the past month to separate the field, leaving market prices clustered because traders see nomination timing, coalition negotiations, and turnout among Morena’s base as the variables most likely to create separation before the election.
