This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched probabilities for Ligue 1 runner-up reflect a wide-open chase behind dominant PSG, with no single club establishing clear separation entering the 2026-27 campaign. Parity among mid-tier sides stems from comparable squad rebuilds during the summer window, including key arrivals at Monaco, Lyon, and Marseille alongside departures that reset expectations at Lens and elsewhere. Recent form from the prior season, where Lens secured second, combined with variable home/away records and fixture difficulty, keeps multiple teams—such as Lille, Marseille, and Monaco—in realistic contention for the spot. Trader consensus captures this uncertainty, as injuries, coaching transitions, and early results could quickly shift the hierarchy in a league defined by consistent underdog potential.
