The crowded field of established veterans and promising younger backs keeps implied probabilities tightly bunched near even money for the 2026 rushing touchdowns leader. Key factors include uncertain backfield hierarchies following offseason roster moves, new offensive coordinators emphasizing ground attacks, and varying injury recoveries that could shift goal-line opportunities. Players such as Ashton Jeanty benefit from a second-year leap behind an upgraded Raiders line and Klint Kubiak’s scheme, while veterans like Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, and Bijan Robinson retain volume in proven systems. Recent form, training camp depth chart battles, and matchup-specific usage trends further balance the race, leaving room for late surges or setbacks to reshape the leaderboard.
