Brisbane Lions hold a clear edge over Gold Coast Suns in the 2026 AFL season, reflected in their stronger ladder position and overall record. The Lions sit in the top four to five with superior percentage and more consistent results across the campaign, while the Suns remain stuck in the lower half of the table with limited wins. Brisbane benefits from greater midfield depth, established finals experience, and a stronger recent form trajectory despite occasional injury setbacks to players like Keidean Coleman. Gold Coast has shown home resilience in patches but continues to battle inconsistency, higher injury disruptions in key positions, and a tougher path against top opposition. These factors underpin traders' consensus around the Lions' implied probability in this Q-Clash matchup.
