If this tournament is postponed after August 27, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose name comes first alphabetically. Recent draw release and confirmed withdrawals—including defending champion Victoria Mboko (left knee MCL) and Karolina Muchova—have opened paths without creating a dominant favorite, while top seeds Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina share quarters amid strong showings from Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, and Mirra Andreeva. Mid-tier players such as Marta Kostyuk and Linda Noskova benefit from recent hard-court form and favorable early matchups, sustaining competitive balance that reflects the wisdom of crowds in a tournament where surface speed, rest, and bracket positioning can quickly shift outcomes.
