Serhii Rak enters the Setka Cup matchup against Denys Shcherbak with a recent edge in their head-to-head series, including multiple 3-2 and 3-1 victories in July 2026 encounters where he rallied in later sets. Rak's recent form shows consistent set wins against mid-tier opponents alongside occasional drops in extended rallies, while Shcherbak has alternated strong service games with losses in straight sets to higher-ranked players. Both compete regularly in this domestic Ukrainian circuit, where factors like spin variation, serve consistency, and recovery between daily fixtures often decide tight best-of-five outcomes. Their August 3 contest continues a pattern of competitive play without major injuries or roster changes reported.
