Mykola Polysynskyi and Yevhenii Sokoltsov, both Ukrainian competitors in the Setka Cup table tennis circuit, bring contrasting recent trajectories into their matchup. Polysynskyi holds a strong historical edge, leading the head-to-head series 7-3 with the most recent encounter also going his way. His July form includes a straight-sets win over Serhii Chuliukov alongside a loss to Vitalii Kobets, reflecting inconsistency in longer rallies and service games. Sokoltsov, meanwhile, has shown resilience in late-July fixtures with victories over Hryhorii Kulishov and Andrii Peretiatko but suffered defeats that exposed vulnerabilities in return play and endurance across multiple sets. Setka Cup scheduling, surface consistency, and player fatigue from back-to-back events remain key variables that could shift implied probabilities in this closely contested domestic pairing.
