Makienko Mykhailo holds a recent edge in Setka Cup play, posting a 10-4 record over his last 14 matches with consistent scoring around 71 points per contest. Oleksandr Kovalchuk has shown mixed results in the same circuit, including a 3-2 loss to Makienko on July 23 that featured extended rallies and multiple deuce sets. Their limited head-to-head history also leans toward Makienko, though both players operate at comparable ranking levels within the Ukrainian domestic table tennis scene. Recent schedule density, surface familiarity on standard indoor tables, and individual momentum from prior rounds remain the main variables that could shift outcomes in any rematch or continuation of the tournament.
