This market will resolve to the player who wins the Calder Memorial Trophy for the 2026-27 NHL season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NHL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NHL Draft, set for June 26-27 in Buffalo, features a deep class of high-end prospects including Gavin McKenna, Ivar Stenberg, Chase Reid, Caleb Malhotra, and Keaton Verhoeff, leaving the 2026-27 Calder Trophy market wide open. With no player yet assigned to an NHL roster or line, trader consensus reflects uncertainty over which draftees will secure immediate playing time, power-play roles, or sheltered minutes amid varying team needs and competition from holdover rookies. Recent prospect rankings and combine reports highlight comparable offensive upside and defensive tools across multiple positions, while factors like team context, development paths in the AHL or junior leagues, and injury risks further flatten implied probabilities. The wisdom of crowds in this futures market underscores how roster decisions and training-camp battles over the next several months will determine the eventual frontrunner.
