The 2026-27 Liga MX campaign opened just days ago on July 16, leaving the race for the most clean sheets wide open among a deep group of starting goalkeepers. Early match results show no single keeper pulling ahead after limited fixtures, with teams like América, Pachuca, and Chivas posting comparable defensive outputs. Keylor Navas at Pumas, Camilo Vargas, Raúl Rangel, Carlos Moreno, Luis Malagón, and others enter with strong recent form, established starting roles, and clubs featuring organized backlines that limit high-quality chances. Head-to-head trends and home/away splits from the prior season further balance expectations across contenders. Trader pricing reflects this parity, as minor shifts in team form, injuries, or schedule difficulty could quickly reorder standings before the Clausura begins.
