Universitatea Craiova enters as defending champions from the prior campaign, yet early results show Argeș Pitești, FCSB, Rapid București, and Dinamo București occupying the top spots after the first handful of fixtures. Traditional contenders CFR Cluj, Farul Constanța, and Universitatea Cluj sit just behind, with no club demonstrating clear superiority in form, squad depth, or schedule strength. Preseason roster adjustments and the absence of any runaway favorite have kept trader consensus fragmented, underscoring the league’s typical parity and the potential for momentum shifts once the full 30-match regular season and play-offs unfold.
