The 2026–27 efbet Liga campaign opened with Levski Sofia and Ludogorets Razgrad sharing early leadership after the 2025–26 title changed hands for the first time in 14 years. Multiple clubs—CSKA Sofia, CSKA 1948 Sofia, Arda, Cherno More, Botev Plovdiv, Lokomotiv Plovdiv, and Spartak Varna—enter the season with comparable squad depth, recent European experience, and pre-season form, creating a broad cluster of realistic contenders for second place. Official injury reports remain limited this early, and the absence of a single dominant challenger behind the defending champions has kept implied probabilities tightly grouped across the field. Historical patterns of mid-table volatility and shifting coaching setups further support the even distribution of market sentiment among these sides.
