Bayern Munich enter the 2026-27 Bundesliga as overwhelming title favorites following their recent dominance, leaving the runner-up race wide open among a deep group of clubs. Pre-season preparations and roster adjustments across Dortmund, Leverkusen, Leipzig, Stuttgart, and others have produced no clear hierarchy, with similar squad depths, recent European experience, and variable form keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered near 50%. Promoted sides and mid-table teams add further uncertainty, while factors like fixture congestion, injury recoveries, and transfer-window outcomes remain unresolved ahead of the late-August kickoff. This balance reflects broad trader consensus on a competitive second-place battle without a standout contender.
