The tightly bunched probabilities around 50% for the 2026 Liga de Ascenso runner-up reflect a highly competitive mid-season table where Cobreloa, Santiago Wanderers, San Marcos de Arica, and Deportes Puerto Montt sit within a handful of points after roughly 18-19 rounds. Strong recent form, solid goal differences, and consistent results have kept several clubs in realistic contention for the second promotion spot, while clubs such as Magallanes, Rangers, and Curicó Unido remain within striking distance on the strength of historical second-division pedigree and favorable remaining schedules. With no dominant side emerging and key upcoming fixtures set to shuffle the standings further, trader consensus views the outcome as wide open heading into the second half of the campaign.
