If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Liga Profesional (Argentina) for the 2026 season per the rules of Liga Profesional (Argentina) (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Liga Profesional (Argentina); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.In the 2026 Liga Profesional Argentina, a tightly bunched field of contenders keeps the runner-up market exceptionally competitive, with implied probabilities clustered near even money across established sides and promoted clubs alike. Recent Apertura results highlighted Belgrano's title breakthrough, yet the ongoing Clausura phase features fluctuating form from teams like Estudiantes, Boca Juniors, Vélez Sarsfield, and Talleres, alongside strong starts from Argentinos Juniors and Independiente Rivadavia. Schedule congestion, injury management, and home/away splits continue to level the table, preventing any single squad from pulling clear. Trader consensus reflects this parity, as head-to-head records and goal-difference battles leave multiple realistic paths to second place through the December finish.
