T1 enters the KeSPA Cup 2026 semifinals as the clear favorite against DN SOOPers, buoyed by their 4-1 group-stage record and consistent LCK form, while DN SOOPers carries momentum from a quarterfinal sweep of Hanwha Life Esports that advanced them to this best-of-five matchup on August 17. Prior LCK encounters this season saw T1 sweep DN SOOPers in straight series, highlighting advantages in map control, objective securing, and mid-game execution. DN SOOPers' roster, featuring veterans like DuDu and Pyosik, has shown improved synergy in recent Challengers and cup play, but faces a steep challenge against T1's deeper bench and playoff experience. Recent patch stability and rest advantages favor the higher-seeded side, though bracket pressure and potential meta shifts could open windows for an upset if DN SOOPers secures early leads.
