Diane Parry, ranked No. 64, faces wild-card entrant Caroline Dolehide, ranked No. 256 in singles, in the WTA Cincinnati Open first round on hard courts. This marks their first meeting, with predictive models assigning Dolehide a narrow 52-53% implied win probability despite the ranking gap. Parry enters with a 22-17 singles record in 2026 and recent hard-court action in Toronto, while Dolehide has shown solid recent form including an ITF title and strong doubles results that may aid confidence. The American's experience on North American hard courts and potential rest or motivation factors contribute to the competitive pricing, as does the high-stakes lead-in to the US Open for both players.
